I've been meaning to write this post for a week.
A week ago, I did something I've wanted to do for YEARS. Something so silly and insignificant, it would make anyone laugh. But I did it.
I contacted an old friend. I guess you could even say we used to be more than friends, but anyway. He answered immediately, we chatted and it felt like old times. It felt like nothing had changed, it felt like no time had passed. It felt good.
So the reason for this post is to encourage each and every one of you (although I highly doubt this blog even has readers) to do it. Do that thing that you always said you were going to do, but you never did, because the timing wasn't right or for whatever silly reason. Do. It.
Or as they say on Man Repeller, keep that "end of the movie" feeling alive. You know, when you see a very inspiring movie and it's almost over and you think "yes, I'll call him" or "yes, I'll take that chance" or whatever. DO IT!
You will not regret it, I promise.
